PVCA 141 Wins 1st in Texas Eclipse # 3 Power Pool

3/7/2010 - PVCA 141 dominated the "Power Pool" at the Texas Eclipse # 3 volleyball tournament. 4 teams were in the power pool and PVCA 141 swept them all. In the first round, the team defeated Twist 141 and Ali II 141 in straight sets, and split with Adam Johnson 141 Asics. In the championship, the team defeated Adam Johnson 141 2 sets to 1 to claim 1st place. Congratulations to the players and coaches for a great tournament.

PVCA 161 Wins 3rd at ASC # 11

3/7/2010 - PVCA 161 finished in 3rd place at the ASC # 11 volleyball tournament. In pool play, the team defeated Austin Performance 16 Velocity and Hill Country Elite 161 Royal. They lost a tough 3 set match to Ruff Ryders. In the 3rd place match, the team defeated Austin Peformance 16 Rush to finish in 3rd place. Congratulations to the team and coaches for a great tournament.

PVCA 142 Takes 3rd at Texas Eclipse # 3

3/6/2010 - PVCA 142 started strong and finished with 3rd place at Texas Eclipse # 3 volleyball tournament. The team began the day defeating Jollyville 14 Navy in straight sets. Then, in the semi-finals the team went down in defeat to VB Academy 14 Black. In the 3rd place match, they rebounded to dominate TCA 141 to capture 3rd place. What a great win for the team. Congratulations to all the players. We all "DID OUR JOBS!"

PVCA 12's Adrienne Wins 2nd Place at ASC # 10

3/6/2010 - PVCA 12's Adrienne won their pool at the ASC # 10 volleyball tournament. In pool play, the team defeated Jollyville 121, Austin SAS 12's, and AJV 12 Grande. In the finals, they lost to ExRights 121. Congratulations to the players and coaches on another great tournament.

SUMMER CLINICS 2010

3/3/2010 - Summer Clinics have been scheduled for PVCA.
Beginning May 14th, PVCA will host summer volleyball clinics.

When:Each Friday/Saturday night, 6:00 - 9:00 (1 hour and 15 min sessions)
What: Different skills will be offered.
How: Sign up for as many as you can. Different time slots will focus on different age group of players.
Use age/grade for NEXT school year (2010-2011)
Registration Form: See flyer for more information and dates/skills being offered.

Get a jump start for middle school and high school tryouts. 2 sessions will be offered for each "Incoming Middle School" and "Incoming Freshman" tryout camps. Each camp will have different skills. Get the summer rust off before trying out for your school team.

Where: All clinics will be held at Immanual Lutheran Gym (500 Immanual Road, Pflugerville, Texas 78660)

PRIVATE LESSONS and Summer Volleyball team practice

3/3/2010 - PVCA coaches will offer private lessons beginning Friday, June 4th. You can sign up for 50 minute time slots with one of 4 coaches from PVCA.

PVCA 141 Wins 2nd @ ASC # 9

2/28/2010 - PVCA 141 took 2nd place in the ASC # 9 volleyball tournament. The team sweeped through their pool defeating Lady Dynamites 141, Kyle Jrs 14 Regional, and Columbus Classics 142. In the finals, the team lost in a hard fought 3 set match to Texas South Road Runners, 26-28, 25-15, 12- 15. Congratulations on another great tournament.

PVCA 121 and PVCA 132 Take 3rd at Hill Country Elite # 2

2/28/2010 - PVCA 121 and PVCA 132 both won 3rd place in their age group volleyball tournament.
PVCA 12 Adrienne won their pool defeating Austin Performance 122 and Cove Jrs 121. In the semi-finals, the team to MVP 121.
PVCA 132 advanced to the semi-finals, only to lose to Waco Jrs 131 Blue. In pool play, the team defeated Texas Eclipse 13 White, while losing to SA Hornet 13 Gold. In the first round of the playoffs, the team defeated Magic 131, before losing to Waco Jrs.

PVCA 131 Takes 2nd at Hill Country Elite # 2

2/28/2010 - PVCA 131 wins 2nd place in the Hill Country Open # 2 volleyball tournament this weekend. For the tournament, the team defeated Texas Eclipse 13 Black, Kyle Jrs 132, and Thunderstrike 131. They suffered their only lose to WAC 131. Congratulations on a great tournament.

PVCA 131 and PVCA 132 at Cowtown

2/15/2010 - PVCA 131 and PVCA 132 did a great job at Cowtown 2010. PVCA 131 took home 1st place in the Silver Bracket. On day 1, the team went 3-0 in pool play beating Cowtown YMCA 13 Orange, Endless Summer 13 Dynamite, and Team North Texas 13 Cristal. On day 2, they started with a loss to Team Sports 131. The team rebounded to win the next 3 matches against Team Sports 134, Oklahoma Edge 131, and PVCA 132 to claim 1st place.

PVCA 132 took home 2nd place in the Silver Bracket. The team went 3-0 on day 1 defeating CTV 13 Red, 817 Volleyball Boomers, and Team Sports 134. On day 2, the team started with a loss, but rebounding winning their next 2 (both in 3 sets) to meet PVCA 131 for the finals.

PVCA 161 Wins 1st in Gold at Cowtown

2/15/2010 - PVCA 161 rolled through the field to win 1st place at Cowtown Volleyfest 2010. On day 1, the team defeated Kyle Jrs 161 and Texas Select 16 Red. On day 2, the winning continued defeating CTV 161 Red, Clay County 16 Allison, and then defeating Texas Image 16 Elite in the finals. Congratulations on a great tournament.

PVCA 151 and PVCA 152 at Cowtown

2/15/2010 - PVCA 151 took home 1st place in Gold at Cowtown Volleyfest. PVCA 152 won 2nd place in Gold at Cowtown.
PVCA 151 started day 1 with a sweep in their pool defeating Texas Advantage 15 Metro, Team North Texas 15 Sharon, and Texas Eclipse 15 Grey.(more information to come)

2/15/2010 - PVCA 141 continues to have a great season by winning 1st place in Gold at Cowtown Volleyfest 2010. On day 1, the team swept their pool defeating Metro Heat 14, Wichita Falls Tornado 141, and Texas Image 14 Metro. On day 2 in bracket play, PVCA 141 wond 4 straight matches.. Texas Eclipse 14 White, TVC 141, Excel 14 National, and Hurricane 14 Blue. Congratulations on a great tournament.

PVCA 142 Finishes 3rd in Silver at Cowtown Volleyfest

2/15/2010 - PVCA 142 had a great tournament finishing in 3rd in the Silver Bracket at Cowtown Volleyfest. On day 1 starting as the 4th seed, they finished in 2nd defeating CTV 14 Red and Metro Heat 14 Black, and only losing to Hurricane 14 Blue in a close 3 set match. On day 2, the team started with a close 3 set match loss, 18-16 in the 3rd set, to TVC. They bounced back to defeat Texas Eclipse 14 White before losing to Team North Texas Thunder to finish in 3rd place. Congratulations on a great tournament. The team moved up many spots from the beginning of the tournament.

2/7/2010 - PVCA 12's Adrienne won 1st place in the AP # 1 tournament on Saturday. The team won their pool defeating AP Tenacity and South Austin Shock. They went 5-1 in sets. In the championship match, the team defeated Jollyville 12 Teal for the tournament championship. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

PVCA 161 Wins 2nd at No Limits

1/30/2010 - PVCA 161 took 2nd place in the "No Limits" volleyball tournament this weekend. The team finished 1st in their pool with a perfect 3-0 record defeating SA Pumas 161, SSVBC 161, and Kerrville Jrs 161. In the first round of the playoffs, the team defeated LV 16 Blue to advance to the championship match. The team lost in 2 sets to Mavericks 161. Congratulations on a great tournament.

PVCA 141 Wins 1st at ASC # 3

1/24/2010 - PVCA 141 continued their winning ways by capturing 1st place at the ASC # 3 volleyball tournament. The team went a perfect 3-0 in pool play defeating Kyle Jrs 14, Blackland 141, and Kileen Jrs. In the finals they defeated Corpus Christi Wave 141 in 2 sets. PVCA 151 Wins AGAIN

1/24/2010 - PVCA 151 took 1st place in the ASC # 3 tournament this weekend. The team went 4-0 in matches defeating Texas Eclipse 15 Grey, Kileen Jrs 151, Austin Performance 15 Relentless, and Magic 151 to claim 1st place. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

PVCA 152 Wins 3rd at Aggieland Classic

1/24/2010 - PVCA 152 took 3rd place at the Aggieland Classic volleyball tournament. In pool play, the team finished in 2nd place defeating Brazos Valley 15 Red, Bell County 151, and Westside Jr 15 Black. They lost to Katy 15 Gold. In the first round of the playoffs, they defeated Shockwave 15 Orange to advance to the semi-finals. Gulf Coast 15 East Beach 151 defeated PVCA 152 leaving them in 3rd place. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

PVCA 15's at MLK (PVCA 151 - 1st in Gold, PVCA 152 - 2nd in Gold, PCA 153 - 5th in Gold)

1/20/2010 - PVCA 15s did an awesome job at the MLK Classic tournament. PVCA 151 went a perfect 10-0 in matches & 20-0 in sets to capture their 3rd tournament championship. PVCA 152 went 9-1 in matches, only dropping to PVCA 151 in the Gold Championship match. PVCA 153 finished in 5th in Gold going 5-3 for the tournament. Congratulations to all the players and coaches.

PVCA 142 Finishes 2nd in Silver at MLK

1/20/2010 - PVCA 142 finished strong to take 2nd place in the Silver Bracket at MLK Classic. The team started the tournament going 2-1 on the first day, but falling to 0-3 on day 2. On the final day in bracket play, the team played 7 straight sets, fighting in all the matches, only to fall in the 3rd set against Braggin Rights 142. Congratulations to the players.

PVCA 141 Takes 2nd in GOLD at MLK

1/20/2010 - PVCA 141 went 7-2 in matches to win 2nd place in the Gold Bracket at MLK volleyball tournament this weekend. The team lost to Dripping Spring Jrs in the finals. The team did get revenge on Braggin' Rights for their only other lose during the tournament. Congratulations to the players and coaches for a great tournament.

PVCA 161 takes 2nd in Silver at MLK

1/20/2010 - PVCA 161 took 2nd place in the Silver bracket at MLK volleyball tournament. The team went 5-5 in matches and was able to finish in 2nd place. Congratulations to the players on coaches.

PVCA 151 Wins 1st Place BCVA # 1

1/10/2010 - PVCA 151 went 3-0 in pool play and then defeated PVCA 152 to win 1st place at the BCVA # 1 tournament. The team defeated Magic 15's, AP 15 Relentless, and SA Elite 15 Red in straight sets before facing PVCA 152 in the finals. It was a great match with PVCA 151 winning in 2, 25-17 25-21. Congratulations to the players and coaches.

PVCA 152 Takes 2nd Place in BCVA # 1

1/10/2010 - PVCA 152 began the day as the second seed in their pool. They went on to win their pool defeating Jollyville 151, AP 15 Fury, and Texas Fury 152. In the finals, the team faced PVCA 151 and playe a great match before falling in straight sets. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a great tournament.

PVCA 12 Adrienne wins 2nd in Pool at IH 35 # 1

1/10/2010 - PVCA 12s Adrienne finished 5-3 in sets and 2-1 in matches to take second place in their pool at IH 35 # 1. The team defeated Saints 12 Gold and SA Magic 123. Their only loss was to SA Elite 121 1-2 in sets. Congratulations on your first tournament.

PVCA 132 at IH 35

1/10/2010 - PVCA 132 team finished 5-3 in sets at the IH 35 #1 volleyball tournament. The coaches were very proud of their accomplishments. The team defeated Impact 131 and Jollyville 132 2 sets to 0 in both matches. The team lost to Concho Valley Matrix (1st place), but was able to split the match against High Voltage (2nd place). Congratulations on a great tournament.

12/12/2009 - PVCA 141 took Gold in the ASC # 1 volleyball tournament. The team defeated Austin Jr 14 Red and Austin Performance 14 Mongoose in pool play to advance 1st in their pool. The defeated Austin Performance 14 Flyers in the semi-finals, then went on to defeat Centex 141 for 1st place. Congratulations! What a way to start the year.

PVCA 151 Wins Gold at Mistletoe Madness

12/12/2009 - PVCA 151 took 1st place in the Green Division at Mistletoe Madness volleyball tournament. The team finished first in their pool defeating Austin Performance 15 Fury and TCVA 151. In the finals, the team defeated Austin Performance 15 Gazelle in straight sets to take home the Gold! Congratulations. What a great way to start the season.

PVCA 131 Wins 3rd at Mistletoe Madness

12/12/2009 - PVCA 131 won 3rd place at the Mistletoe Madness volleyball tournament. In pool play, the team finished 2nd place to advance to the 3rd place match. THe defeateed Kyle Jrs 131 and Austin Performance 13 Gold in pool play, only losing to SA Sting 13 Black. In the playoff match, the team won a thrilling 3 set match defeating SA Sting 13 Purple. Congratulations on a great win. What a fantastic way to start the season.

PVCA 152 Wins 3rd at Mistletoe Madness

12/12/2009 - PVCA 152 won a great 3 set match over Texas Eclipse 15 Black to take home 3rd place. In pool play, the team finished second behind Centex 151. They defeated Austin Performance 15 Relentless twice before going to to defeat Texas Eclipse. Congratulations. What a great way to start the season.
